The agreement comes first
ChargeViz is a subscription product for electric-vehicle charge point operators, published by ChargeViz SAS.
Access to ChargeViz is governed by the written agreement between ChargeViz SAS and your organisation. That agreement sets the term, the fees, the service commitments and the liability position. This page is a public statement of how the product may be used; it does not replace the agreement, and where the two differ the agreement governs.
There is no public sign-up. Accounts are created by invitation, by your organisation's administrators or by us at your organisation's request, and each account belongs to a named individual.
Using your account
- Your account is personal. Do not share it, and do not let anyone else sign in with it.
- Two-factor authentication is mandatory; keep your recovery codes somewhere safe.
- Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.
- Your organisation's administrators are responsible for deactivating accounts when people leave.
What you may and may not do with the data
ChargeViz gives your organisation a right to use the data it can see, for its own business purposes, for as long as the agreement is in force. Within that, you may read it, analyse it, and use it in your organisation's own internal work and reporting.
You may not:
- redistribute, resell, publish or otherwise make the data available to anyone outside your organisation, except as the agreement expressly permits;
- use the data to build or train a competing product or dataset;
- extract it by automated means — crawling, scraping or bulk querying the interface. If you want programmatic access, ask us;
- attempt to reach data belonging to another organisation, or to circumvent the access controls that keep organisations separate.
Ownership
The ChargeViz application, its interface, and the compiled datasets and metrics it presents remain the property of ChargeViz SAS and its licensors. Nothing here transfers ownership; you receive a right to use the product, not the product itself. Anything you or your organisation supplies to us remains yours.
How accurate the data is
Please read this one. The market data in ChargeViz is compiled and derived from many inputs, and it is a best-effort picture of a market that changes constantly. Coverage varies, inputs disagree with one another, and they change without notice. We invest heavily in coverage and in attributing sites to the right operator, and the product is explicit about what it does not know — but we cannot warrant that any figure is complete, current or correct.
ChargeViz is decision support. Do not treat it as the sole basis for a pricing, investment or contractual decision without checking anything material against the source.
Changes to the service
The product is under active development: views, metrics and data sources change as it improves. Where a change materially affects how a metric is calculated, we will say so.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to the terms of the agreement between us and your organisation.
